Thursday afternoon the company along with 55 Ambulance received the dispatch for an auto accident at Warpath and Broad Run Roads, the call was from a third party who was not on location and was not quite sure of the address, 55 Ambulance and Chief 39 arrived at the location to find no vehicle accident and after speaking with a Fire Police officer who traveled Broad Run Road, decided to travel up Warpath Road to look for the accident. Approximately one mile from the original dispatched location we came upon the accident and found one vehicle blocking the road after striking a tree. EMS provided patient care and transport while the response was held to Engine 39-3 and the Chief, Fire Police closed the road and a salt truck was requested for icy conditions. Units cleared after about an hour.
